5 Insta-Worthy Disney Spots

1. Walls of Disney

For reasons still unbeknownst to me, the Walls of Disney are among some of the top places that Disneygrammers love to hold their photo ops. Regardless of how or why these walls have become so popular on Instagram, it's hard to argue with the fact that they do in fact make for some really cute photos. The Neon Mickey Wall located at the Contemporary Resort is my favorite one by far, but the Fichwa Wall in Animal Kingdom, the Purple Wall in Magic Kingdom, and the Bubblegum Wall in Epcot are a few honorable mentions as well. Chances are, if you visit a Disney Wall you'll run into a handful of like minded people all wanting their pictures taken just like you do, so you'll practically always have another Instagrammer there to take your picture!

2. Food

No matter where in the world you may go, people taking pictures of their food seems to be a universal trend and Disney certain is no exception. Given the sheer amount of foods that are unique to the Disney Parks, it's no wonder why people feel the need to seize the opportunity for pictures. Some of my favorite, and perhaps unsung, locations to take food pictures are located at Disney Springs. The Springs is home to some of the best restaurants at Walt Disney World and taking pictures at them allows you to savor the memories of eating there in addition to savoring every bite of your meal. The Dining Room at Wolfgang Puck is such a hidden gem and more people should know about it. I had some of the best sashimi that I've ever eaten and also snapped a really photo of it. Also, located in Disney Springs is Erin McKenna's Bakery which has recently become a new favorite of mine. Given the fact that I have Celiac Disease and am lactose intolerant, Erin McKenna's is the perfect dessert option. The bakery itself also provides the perfect setting for Insta-worthy shots of their delicious treats! Of course, there are as many opportunities for great photos as there are food & beverage locations and taking the obligatory Dole Whip Picture at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom always makes for a great picture!

3. Grounds of Disney

Overshadowed by its more popular sister, the Walls of Disney, the Grounds of Disney can make for some very unique photos. Located at my favorite attraction, Toy Story Midway Mania, is this super amazing alien puzzle piece that I'm absolutely obsessed with! Disney Springs' Once Upon a Toy store also makes you feel like a toy thanks to the Monopoly board "GO" tile located at the entrance to the store. Both locations bring out your inner child and add something special to your Instagram feed!

4. Resorts

The Walt Disney World Resorts are among some of my absolute favorite locations for photos. To be specific, Disney's Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Art of Animation, Yacht & Beach Club, and Polynesian resorts are offer prime settings for your pictures. The Boardwalk is home to so many hidden treasures such as Margarita Joe's (I'm a little biased towards anything with my name in it), Animal Kingdom Lodge offers a similar setting as Animal Kingdom, Art of Animation is perfect for seeing some of your favorite characters at 10x their original scale, the Yacht & Beach Club transports you to Cape May, New Jersey, and the Polynesian provides the perfect tropical oasis.

5. Parades & Character Meet-ups

Who doesn't love a good Disney Parade or meeting their favorite Character or Princess? Both provide excellent photo opportunities that your Instagram followers will surely fall in love with. My favorite parade to taken pictures of is Festival of Fantasy at Magic Kingdom because there are so many beautiful details on each and every float that you can find something new to take pictures of every time you watch it. While taking generic pictures with characters on either a cellphone or with Disney's Photopass does indeed capture the memories of meeting them, you can take your Instagram game to the next level by using an instant camera your pictures and then having the characters sign the instant photo! After that's all said and done, you can then take a photo of the signed instant photo to post to your Instagram feed. It's basically picture inception, but very trendy nonetheless! Also, taking pictures with character statues has become a habit of mine and the best part is that there's never a line!
